My stay at the hotel was quite a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although comfortable with a nice view, were a bit of a hassle to get to due to their location far from the Lobby. The service was friendly overall, but communication could be improved for non-Japanese speaking guests. The location was superb for exploring Hakone, but getting there was a bit inconvenient. The dining experience was good, but options could be limited, especially since the property is quite isolated. Overall, the stay was enjoyable with some room for improvement.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The location was fantastic, right by the Lake Ashi shore, close to the Hakone Ropeway, and convenient for exploring the area. The rooms offered a surprising view of the large car park with a balcony, and the service was superb, even though staff's knowledge of the area was lacking at times. The dining options were a mix of Western tastes and local flavors, with room for improvement in variety. However, the disappointment in dining was made up for by the state-of-the-art facilities, including a private outdoor onsen overlooking the mountains.

My room faced two sides of the property, the front, and the back, providing a unique perspective. It was not a mountain view but a full-on view of the car park which turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable.

The hotel is situated near the pirate boat port, perfect for Hakone Ropeway and Scenic Boat rides on Lake Ashi, offering a beautiful view from the lobby. However, the location is limited to rope way and ferry rides only. The rooms feature an outdoor bath with a private bathtub but the lake view is partially blocked by trees, priced at 30,000++ a night.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were absolutely beautiful with a private hot bath on the deck but the 'mountain view' turned out to be a view of the car park. The service was wonderful, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, but the dining options were just okay. The location was convenient for families with young kids but a bit far from the town. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor drawbacks.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious with relaxing lake views, but unfortunately overlooked a petrol station. The view of the lake was nice, although the private bath faced the main road. The service varied from polite but not great at English to extremely pleasant, especially the private bath experience. The location was fantastic, situated near many attractions like the Hakone Ropeway and bus stops, but the isolation was a downside. The dining experience was a hit of the night with delicious food, yet it did not meet some expectations. Overall, a stay with pros and cons.

I stayed at a hotel with rooms that face both the front and back of the property, which was much better. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and came with a balcony. The service was very nice, although staff lacked a bit of knowledge about getting around. The location was split into a women's and men's area, with a private outdoor onsen with a view of the mountains. The dining experience was a bit disappointing in terms of quality and quantity for the price, but the hotel had amazing onsen facilities by the lake. The facilities were well-kept, and the hotel offers free shuttle service.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, right by the cable car and pirate cruise ship, offering more than expected. The rooms were a little plain in terms of interior design, with a northern-facing orientation that made lake views impossible. The service was delightful overall, although check-out at 10:00 a.m. seemed too early. The dining experience was quite crowded and noisy, falling short in quality and quantity for the price. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, adding to the vacation features of the location.

The hotel is conveniently located just in front of Togendai, perfect for accessing the Hakone Ropeway and scenic boat rides on Lake Ashi. The rooms, while a bit small with private baths, offer views overlooking the car park. The service was apologetic but the early check-out time at 10:00 AM for the shuttle bus service was inconvenient. The dining experience, although offering a wide range of dishes, was below expectations both in quality and quantity. Despite these drawbacks, the location is excellent and easy to reach from the station.
